Do you feel it?
A righteous rebellion in your body when you read that against the notion that a man's reflection of you should determine your worth?
That you are an independent and differentiated GROWN- ASS WOMAN who doesn’t need any man’s validation or approval?
I used to feel it too.
It is all TRUE.
And…. I have come full circle, back to HOME, to understand that the Feminine finds herself in her reflection from the Masculine.
And that his reflection leads her to home to herself- EVEN AND ESPECIALLY when it is tainted with his shadow and injures us.
That is far, far more empowering than is sounds.
It illuminates such a deeper understanding of myself, and the often confusing paths I have walked in relationships with men, and removes any shame I carry about how I have done that.
It reveals the genius and rightness of my journey: I have been seeking a path to back to myself.
And, as a Feminine being yourself, so have you.
There are two ways that this happens: And they both begin with Father. (Here we go into that very tender place.)
One:
If you were a very lucky girl-child, your father held space for your Feminine- -your feelings, your delight, your pain, your desires, your truth. He made it safe for you to FEEL YOURSELF in your Feminine, which is the greatest gift he could ever give you rendering you confident to be yourself unapologetically, in the world and with the Masculine.
Two:
If you are amongst those of us who’s fathers- the imperfect men of this earth- were not able to hold the Feminine, because his own Feminine- his vulnerability, his emotions, his desire for connection were rejected and shamed, hardening his heart against feelings in himself and others and rendering him unable to feel YOU, and his reflection of your Feminine back to you was stained by the rejection of that part of him- then you had a father who showed you the path of your Heroine’s Journey:
The journey of going deep within to heal and reclaim HER- your Feminine, your SELF- living in a shadow Masculine world that struggles to keep a hold of itself when it feels the full expression of the Feminine.
And it is on that journey -so sacred, and so important- that you will tackle the notions of Feminine dependence, inferiority and love that shadow Masculine has imposed upon you-
and on the whole world.
On your Heroine’s Journey, you will seek the healthy Masculine “father” as perfect provider and protector of your Feminine, seeking representation of him in the imperfect men, in the imperfect world.
But here is where you will find him: In the Cosmic Father- The Universe/Source/God.
And this is where you will find yourself as Holy Daughter, as Divine Feminine, seeded by HIM with your gifts, your inner beauty, your sacred longing, your truth.
And you will know that you are cherished right down to your Feminine core.
And you will then open your body to his consciousness, To let him in to dance with your soul- and when you do, you will realize he is already there and always has been.
You will forgive your earthly father, (which does not have to mean being in relationship with him), and grow yourself up beyond the need for his of any man's validation, permission for your Feminine to live in her fullest expression.
Because that honor is granted already, from the moment your soul was created by the Divine Masculine Father that created you as you are on purpose with a purpose.
And you will be able to speak your desire and your sacred wrecking ball of truth alike,
and hold yourself through his storm that is own journey towards HOLDING YOU.
But you will hold your own boundaries- gracefully and ruthlessly, as a woman differentiated and in full approval of herself- to protect the most precious gift you have to give:
YOU, beloved and in your fullness.
Because you will know yourself- your Feminine- as the Beloved, cherished, Holy Daughter,
reflected and seeded with the love of the Divine Masculine.
And then you will illuminate for the imperfect Masculine of the world the path of his Heroes journey: To slay his dragons- in the world and himself- and to reunite with the Feminine, the Goddess, the Earth, through YOU.
