It isn't love without this.

Without truth.

When you are untruthful with your love, that is not love.

That is fear.

Because love may need you to tell someone no.

Love may disappoint them with what you do for it's sake. Love may even need you to tell someone goodbye.

Love may ask that you leave a well-paying, soul-sucking job and entering the financial unknown.

Love may create art that no one loves but you.

Because loves will ask you to risk all for your truth.

There is no love without it.

Maybe you are asking yourself some hard questions right now.

And maybe you are hearing the answers that you don't want to hear: That you are not telling yourself the truth.

And not telling your truth to others. That you are abandoning your desires,

because you are feeding love's opposite: fear.

And that now, for love’s sake, you need to make some big changes. Maybe scary ones.

For love.

I have walked this path. I am still walking this path.

Every f*cking day.

And it isn't always easy.

In fact, some days, it is excruciating.

But this I know:

When I am truthful, I serve love.

When I serve love, I am set free.

And Love showers me with her glory.
