Often, the best plan is to have no plan,
and to feel your way along instead,
with hungry curiosity,
and a dedication to what you love,
into a much deeper world than you could have ever planned,
with infinitely more opportunities than you create with the knowledge of your past,
allowing the knowing in your body to feel and dance in the moment,
yes, no,
and more...
This charcoal study of a pile of boulders in Joshua Tree became something I never unexpected to create when I submitted to how my body wanted to feel instead of being attached to a result. I love what I ended up creating when I trusted that.
And I always do- in my life, my relationship and my art.
