The Goddess's Cauldron

Updated: Nov 1, 2022

A vessel of creation for transforming something into something else.

Storing her power and magic-

her swirl feelings, intuition, desires, gathering, holding, brewing, transforming.

Like her body.

Fluid. Changing. Flowing. Sometimes chaotic.

Like her emotions.

Just like a Goddess of Creation.

Then the Divine Goddess, magically brewing the elixir of life in her cauldron, turned into the Evil Witch stirring her cauldron of evil powers.

"Double, double toil and trouble; Fire burn, and caldron bubble," chanted the witches in Shakespeare's MacBeth.

Her cauldron became a vessel of evil.

Her changeable emotions brewing chaos.

Her desire seen as a dangerous wantoness.

Her mysterious wisdom sourced from a place in her body was unquantifiable.

Her magical powers of creation were beyond the comprehension- and control- of men.

She was trouble.

The world was built on by male ideas of success, sexuality, and spirituality. It distrusts the feminine as unreliable and chaotic. It tells us to work, think, act, speak, like a man. To "man up".

So the Goddess was demoted from equal partner in creation.

I am in no way bashing healthy masculinity.

The linear, "ones-and zeros", masculine frequency is the perfect creative counterpart to the feeling, desiring, creation-loving feminine frequency.

The masculine's life-sustaining provisional, protective masculine frequency is his magnificent gift to the world.

And you, Goddess, are his why:

Within your own inner masculine/feminine creational system,

in the world,

and in the Universe.

Your life- supporting essense,

Your desire.

Your pleasure.

Your inspiration.

Your hunger.

Your love.

Is the reason.

So BREW IT ALL.

Breathe it, drink it, bathe in it-

your light and love,

your darkness and chaos,

the creative, life-affirming frequency of you.
